Well a “full day” in London has essentially come and gone. It’s amazing how much colder it is/was here. When we left Philadelphia it was like ~65 degree’s F. As we packed and headed off to the Airport it was like a nasty summer day. Then once we got to the UK it was below freezing. We unpacked the coach, were exhausted and just got situated. My brother and I came back, unpacked, showered and he went to sleep. I on the other hand was going to nap; however, as I prepared to upload the latest set of pictures etc., I realized I had forgotten my USB cable for the camera. I got up, got dressed and started headed towards the Thames. I crossed the Golden Jubilee Bridge, walked about the London Eye (decided I was going to take him there later). I wandered about Charring Cross Station, Trafalgar square and to Ten Downing Street. I headed back, uploaded some shots and then finally laid down for a bit. My brother had to be up for some practice, then, thereafter we headed down to Strand (street), found some dinner, walked over to the now closed London Eye and came back. He isn’t exactly the most adventurous when it comes to food so our dinner was a bit…boring. I did however have a real Bass Ale at the bar, and came back to start winding down for the night. I’ve, we’ve, been up for quite awhile and I’m fairly fatigued etc.
Anyway, tomorrow we’re headed to Buckingham and the off to the countryside. I’ll post more pictures and updates tomorrow. Till then, I hope all is well.
